Cold pancakes and weak coffee made for a really disappointing start to my day. Plus, there was no fridge in the room, which was frustrating in hot weather.

The location was prime, making it easy to explore key spots like the Old Port and nearby Docks of Joliette. We traveled with four teenagers, and they loved the hotel's spacious family rooms, along with the fun pool for unwinding after our adventures.

My wife says that a kid-friendly menu at the restaurant would be great.
